In both her personal life and professional career, Ruth Romero has always expressed her passion for beauty and her love of culture. She raised her two children in her native California, then relocated to New York, where she specialized in promoting Chinese antiquities. Later, her lifelong talent for fashion and haute couture proved invaluable at one of New York's finest boutiques, where as manager, Ruth prided herself in assisting her clients capture their distinct and individual style. Ruth also worked several years with Brooks Brothers, the prestigious men's clothiers, in their New York flagship store where she honed her skills in assisting business men in planning their wardrobes.

Ruth's unerring sense of style and passionate personality attracted the attention of Miss Universe, Inc. and she was offered the position of Traveling Manager and Companion to Miss Universe and Miss USA. While serving in this capacity she guided the titleholders in all aspects of professional wardrobe and grooming. She coached and mentored each titleholder to ensure the success of press conferences, broadcast appearances and special events. Always guiding them in proper business etiquette and protocol.

Ruth currently resides in Eagle, Idaho, where she volunteers her expertise as Art Curator for Eagle City Hall, coordinating monthly exhibits of local artists' work. She also provides invaluable support to "Dress for Success", a charity that assists low-income women with career development and employment. Ruth is an active member of AICI-Association of Image Consultants International, Toastmasters International and eWomen's Network, an organization that connects women and their businesses worldwide. Ruth's son, Mark is a motivational speaker and guitarist (www.MarkRomeroMusic.com). Her daughter, Denise is a scientist in dental sales. Ruth's pride and joy are her four lovely granddaughters.
